La Dolce Vita was Knox’s first show in the sole role as choreographer and producer, and she welcomed being able to focus on the production. This show was also Anna’s welcome back to the stage postpartum from her first pregnancy. Her son would become a staple in rehearsals with Anna dancing with the baby in a body carrier. It  would be the last time the company would rehearse at City Dance Corps, as acquiring space on top of scheduling had become a challenge.
As part of Anna’s return to the stage, she choreographed a full scene inspired by the fountain scene  in the Fellini film “Carina” with Anita Ekberg and Marcello Mastroianni. The stage scene included a choreographed silent conversation, a duet with Gary Lucich, and the debut of Anna’s signature solo as Carina. Knox would choreograph the group acts as well as workshop each solo in the show. Knox also decided to take more time with the kitten and incorporate her as a character: a paparazzi stalking each featured performer in the show.
Knox pushed herself and the dancers with choreography that was detailed, musical, fast, and required coordination. She would also present her interpretation of Bob Fosse’s Rich Man’s Frug from Sweet Charity with the four featured dancers to open the show.
With her focus on the production and behind the scenes, Knox would be more involved in creating promotional content for the show, regularly taking photos and video behind the scenes and editing for social media. This would help her establish a visual brand for the company.

While the show sold well the reception overall was lukewarm.
